Show COMMITTEE ON MORAL WELFARE APPOINTED Pursuant to a resolution adopted at the meeting of superintendents of schools in Utah, held last week in Salt Lake, a committee on the moral welfare of the youth of Utah was appointed yesterday by State Superintendent G. N. Child. Dean Milton Bennion of the University of Utah is chairman, and the other members mem-bers are Superintendent Claude D. Lewis of Iron county, Mrs. Isabelle Bacon, president pres-ident of the Home and School leptnic of Salt Lake; Superintendent Karl Hopkins of Opden and Superintendent L. K. Kg-gertsen Kg-gertsen of 1'rovo. Under the instructions of the resolution, resolu-tion, it will be the duty, of thts committee commit-tee to take such steps as it considers advisable ad-visable for the protection of the youth of the state from immoral influences. Superintendent Su-perintendent Child announced that the commiUee would be subject to the call of the chairman. |
