Show MANY SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE AT "U" G. N. Child, state superintendent of public instruction, announced yesterday there were now available 250 scholarships in the school of education at the University Uni-versity of Utah, and that they have been apportioned to the various school districts dis-tricts of the state according to the statute covering the scholarships. The state superintendent, su-perintendent, on recommendation from district boards of education, wiil appoint persons from each district for the scholarships. They are apportioned as follows: Alpine Al-pine 10, Beaver 3, Boxelder 11, Cache 11, Carbon 6, Daggett 1, Davis 6, Duchesne 5, Emery 4, Garfield 3, Grand 1, Granite 15, Iron 3, Jordan 10, Juab 2, Kane 1, Millard j 5, Morgan 1, Nebo 1, North Sanpete 6, North Summit 1, Park City 1, Piute 1, ! Rich 1, San Juan 1, Sevier ?, South San-I San-I pete 5, South Summit 1, Tintic 4, Tooele j 4, Uintah 6, Wasatch 3, Washington 4, Wayne 1, Weber 7, Salt Lake City 57, Ogden 17, Provo 6, Logan 6, Murray 3. |
