Consolidation of five of the leading mining companies of the Rochester district dis-trict of Nevada, including the Rochester Mines, Rochester Merger, Rochester Elda 1 Fina, Rochester Crown Point and the Rochester Combined, which was consummated consum-mated last week under the name of the Rochester Nevada Silver Mines company, details of which were given in Western Miner, can well be regarded as one of the most Important mining deals ever recorded re-corded in the history of Nevada, and will soon bring that district into a prominence and standing that could not have been accomplished in any other manner, for It has brought unity of action, under which the most efficient and broadest development develop-ment of their great mineral resources will be achieved. This means that Rochester will soon be placed in the front ranks of the mining camps of this state a goal toward which 1 it got started several years ago but never I reached because of conflicts which arose in the operation of these properties under separate managements, and which were perhaps unavoidable because of the intricacies in-tricacies of the vein systems of Nenzel hill, upon which all but the Rochester Combined were situated. Development of these veins long ago demonstrated their worth and ore-producing resources. There has never been any doubt on that question, and now that consolidation has been perfected, with unlimited un-limited eastern and Nevada capital behind be-hind it', and a determination to develop them energetically and economically In the most efficient manner. Rochester cannot fail to attain the place it deserves de-serves in the mining world and among Investors. "Western Miner. |
