Show YOUTH IIELO III OGDEN FOR SALTLAKE THEFT Albert Shea Is Charged by Pol ice With Taking Ring and Clothing. Albert Shea, 18 years of age, now beiiid held in Ogden for the alleged burglary of six business offices in the down-town district, is declared by the Salt Lake police to have been guilty of the theft of a diamond ring and nearly it 100 worth of lothiug from Earl H. Farringtou, a resident of Salt Lake. Shf-a was at one time held by the Salt Lake police for investigation and later was released. He obtained employment em-ployment at a local hospital and was assigned to occupy a room in company with I'arritfgtou. On returning home one night, Farrington discovered his roommate had fled, taking with him a suit of clothes, seven silk shirts, a oue-half-karat diamond ring and numerous other articles of wearing apparel. When arrested in Ogden, Shea was investigated by the Salt Lake police and he is said to havo confessed to taking the clothes and ring. According to the police here, he disclosed the place where he had hidden most of the clothes taken by him from Farrington. They have been recovered anil returned to their owner. Shea is charged by the Ogden police with burglary iu the second sec-ond degree. |
