Show POLL INDICATES JACK FAVORITE, 172 AGAINST 144 NEW YORK. June 21. The completed com-pleted poll, taken by the Police Gazette, Ga-zette, of 3"6 opinions as to who will win the fight for the heavyweight championship of the world on July 4, at Toledo, Ohio, shows that 172 favor Jack Dempsey to win the crown, while 144 believe that Jess Willard will conquer con-quer the chaiknger. Twenty others have declared themselves unable to figure out the winner. The opinions, outlined by the Police Gazette, represent the solid convictions convic-tions of men throughout the United States and Canada, who were hld best qualified to render an opinion on the result of a sporting event of so fy-at an importance as the Willnrd-Dempsey Willnrd-Dempsey fight. For this reason they can be said to be an expression of popular sentiment throughout these two countries on the outcome of the big battle.
