Show COAST BANKER ATTEMPTS SUICIDE By Universal Service. SAN FRANCISCO, June 21. Dr. Washington Dodge, banker and former assessor of San Francisco, attempted suicide tonight by shooting himself 111 the head with a revolver. Strain and worry over legal proceedings proceed-ings brought against him as the result of his connection with the Poulsen Wireless Wire-less company Is said to have caused him to seek death. Dr Dodge Is 60 years of age. He was elected assessor four times and resigned to become vice president of the Anglo-London Anglo-London Paris National bank. Dr. Dodge was on the Titanic when it was sunk. |
