DENIES PETITION FOR GRAND JURY Special to The Tribune. TWIN FALIjK, Idaho, May 23. District Judge W. A. Babcock has denied a petition pe-tition presented by J . A . Crom and others oth-ers for the 'Convening of a grand jury in Twin Falls county to investigate alleged violations of the state prohibition laws and official neglect of duty. "I have given the matter consideablc thought." Judge Babcock said, "and cannot can-not think that conditions in this county warrant the convening of a grand jury at this time. Such a step would, in my judgment, be a reproach to the citizenship citizen-ship of the county and to the county officials, of-ficials, whom I believe to bo very capable and efficient."
