Nelson, who has been on the sick list for the past few days, motored in from Bingham and tried his hand at twenty-five tarhawks, breaking them all. W. Brewster showed big improvement in his target breaking yesterday, as did Dr. McCurtain.. They shot well in both the singles and doubles events. YV. P. Fowler and Archie Browning shot at the greatest number of outlaw targets ever trapped at the local club. J. A. Reilley, the crack local target tar-get smasher, was the star performer at the regular club shoot held yesterday over the Salt Lake Gun club traps. John F. Cowan, who has just returned from a trip to the Pacific coast, tied with R. L. Edwards for second place in the regular club event, each breaking forty-six forty-six skimmers out of fifty.
