Show PAROLES GRANTED TO TWELVE ALIENS WASHINGTON, March 15. Paroles were granted by Secretary of Labor Wilson Wil-son today to twelve aliens of the group of fifty-four sent to New York from the west recently under orders of deportation. In ineteen cases the deportation order was affirmed. In the remaining twenty-three twenty-three cases no applications for reopening-of reopening-of hearings were pending. Most of the aliens ordered paroled had been offered paroles on the baeis of their original hearings and before they -were removed from the state of Washington, but refused to accept them. Those whose cases were not reconsidered either had been unable to interest attorneys of the I. W. W. in their cases or were willing to accept deportation. All the names were withheld by the department de-partment of labor. |
