The headquarters of the Twenty-first Infantry, formerly stationed at Fort Douglas Doug-las and since then at Vancouver barracks, Wash., have been moved to Fort George Wright, Wash., according to reports received re-ceived yesterday-by Captain L. C. Wheat, post commandant at Fort Douglas. , Captain Wheat 'is commanding officer-of officer-of G company of the Twenty-first infantry, infan-try, stationed at Fort Douglas for giard duty. Other detachments of the regiment are s::'ttrcd at v posts a'l over the country. v ' The headquarters of the regiment consist con-sist of the commanding officer and his staff, headquarters company, the Firs battalion end machine gun., ordance and supply detachments. Lieutenant A. B. McKeon reported yesterday yes-terday at tho Fort Douglas general hospital hos-pital for duty as dental surgeon. He comes from Pasadena, Cal. Notice of a 10, per cent increase in ration ra-tion allowance was received yesterday at post headquarters. Soldiers who do not cat at the pst mess halls, and receive a cash commutation of rations will receive a 10 per cent increase in their allowance. The increase means a considerable -improvement in the quantity and qualify of food to be ferved the soldiers. |
