Show CARS FOR POTATOES ARE ON WAY WEST Shipping Facilities to Be Greatly Increased In-creased Soon, Railroad Officials Here Assert. Shipping facilities for Utah and Idaho potato growers, in the form of refrigerator ears, is promised bv the railroads in the state within a few davs. News was received yesterday at the general offices here of the Oregon Short Line and Union Pacific to the effect that the westward movement of refrigerator cars has commenced, and that a full supplv for this district should be here within a few davs. i Thus far the potato growers have been lianipcrcl in handling their croi.s ! by lack of cars, but now railroad ofti- j cials believe local cowers will have i opportunity to market their crops. The Short Line officials have been advised that about L'nj cars which have been released -on the eastern terminals ter-minals are due to be sent into the west. It was announced yesterday that the cars are coming out at the rate of about 100 a week. It i expected that this rate will be inereas.i from now j on.
