Show SOLONS WILL ADOPT LA FOLLETTE CENSURE MADISON, Wis., March 1. Many of Senator La Follette's friends admitted here tonight that the loyalty resolution to censure the senator for his attitude on the war would pass the house tomorrow, to-morrow, probably by a vote of 2 to 1. Three Republicans, two Democrats and one Socialist had entered the senatorial race when the- list closed tonight. The candidates are: Francis E. McGovern, Congressman Lenroot, James Thompson, Republicans: Joseph E. Davies. Dr. Charles McCarthy. Democrats, and Victor Vic-tor Berber, Socialist. The primaries are set for March 19. WASHINGTON, March 1. Joseph E. Davies of the federal trade commission and candidate for the Democratic nomination nomi-nation for senator from Wisconsin, in a telegram sent tonight in answer to inquiries in-quiries from his state, declared that If elected to the senate he would vote for the expulsion of La Follette. |
