Because the present Lra In service is held to favor Salt Lake City as against Ogden, the Bamberger J Jlectric P.n ilroad company will be com -pelled to re-establish its outgoing train at !1 o'clock a night if the present plans of lo'itl city officials and the Weier club are effective. A movement to have the late train put hack into service was .started today by an Ogden theater manager. man-ager. At the close of the resort season on September S the Bamberger company rearranged re-arranged its train schedule to eliminate the southbound trains leaving Ogden at !':30 and 11. SO p. m. Under this schedule sched-ule the last outgoing eleciric train leaves Ogden at 10:30 p. m., ton early, it is contended, for persons to witness an en-tiro en-tiro performance at local theaters, or remain re-main for i he complete programme at other oth-er entertainments. Mayor A. R. 'Hey wood was appealed to in the matter today and yaid he would investigate the company's franchise regarding re-garding train service. Officers of the Weber club also promised to take up the matter with the Bamberger company. |
