Show ARTILLERY MOVEMENTS. A few days ago we read how American Ameri-can artillerymen were being trained in France and that they would soon have their baptism of fire with the French troops. Since then news has come from London that thousands more of onr artillerymen, regulars, are being trained in England at the camp where the finishing touches were put on the Canadian troops before they took their place in the line -where they have since distinguished themselves. The regulars now at this camp will shortly be sent across the' channel to show the' Huns how well they can handle the big guns now used in battle and they will give a good account of themselves. .There is some speculation as to what organizations organiza-tions will next occupy the training camp in -England . and it has been thought possible, that more artillery will be sent over .the Atlantic before winter sets in. ' It is useless, however, to- speculate npon such matters, for there are changes in the war department's depart-ment's plans every day and it has become be-come impossible to carry out a fixed schedule regarding troop movements. |
