A new addition to the freshie squad yesterday was Dave Peterson, brother of Vadal Peterson, the star freshman end of several years ago. Dave- is the heavi'. man on the freshie squad, tipping iTTr scales at the 170-pound mark, and solid as a rock. He has never played foo' ball, but says he is out to learn the rfr There are several other infants w'are just about as husky and the first-year men may be expected to put up a good showing during the season. Some real dope on the football outlook will be given out this forenoon at the first football assembly of the year at the university. Coach Norgren and others will speak. |
