Show MAY HAVE MILITARY DAY AT BIG FAIR Invitation to the troops at Fort Douglas Doug-las to have a "military day" at the state fair next week was received yesterday by Colonel Alfred Hasbrouck, post commander, com-mander, from President W. B. Romney of the state fair board. Mr. Romney suggests that Wednesday, Wednes-day, October would be a good day for the soldiers, but it is left to Colonel Hasbrouck Has-brouck and the officers of the regiments to jw-lect a more suitable day If they so desire. The colonel Is also requested to ' provide pro-vide some of the troops to give a demonstration demon-stration of marching and c'rill work at the fa ir, if such can be done without interrupting the preparation work of thf tiuops at the post. The matter has not yet been decided by the colonel. |
