Show TELLS HOW TROLLEY VALUATION IS FIXED i Statistician Testifies at Hearing; No Intention to Charge Two Tares in Murray Is Entertained. V. T. Davoud, statistician of the Utah Power & Light company, testified further at yesterday's hearing before the public utilities rommisslon upon the application of the Utah Light & Traction company for an advance in street car fares, giving evidence regarding the physical valuation of the property of the company. He also gave an analysis of power cost from 1907 to the present. Officials of the company stated that it was not the Intention to ask for two distinct dis-tinct fares in Murray city. By the tariff proposed it was inferred by a few Murray residents that it was the intention to establish es-tablish two fares. The company's officials offi-cials said that two fares would not prevail In Murray rity proper, but that two fare? would be necessarv for the conveyance of passengers from Murray to Salt Lake. The belief expressed was that by tho tariff the company meant to charge one fare In the southern limits and another In the northern limits of Murray, it was stated that only one fare would prevail In Murray ' if a person boarded and alighted alight-ed from a car within the confines of the city. Irrespective of whether he was a passenger in both the northern and southern south-ern zones. C. E. Gaufin, superintendent of Murray schools, testified, at the mornins session.
