Show SECOND DEFALCATION CHARGED TO BANKER St. Anthony Defaulter Now 'Connected With Misappropriation of $41,744 of School Funds. i Special to The Tribune. ST. ANTHONY, Idaho. Sept. 13. Recent Re-cent developments in the affairs of Heber C. Sharp, confessed defaulter, who pleaded plead-ed guiitv last Monday before Federal Judge Dietrich at Boise to the charge, of misappropriating funds of the Commercial National oank of St. Anthony, also connect con-nect him with the misappropriation of 41.744 from the St. Anthony school fund, of which he was treasurer for the past five years. This amount is said to be in addition to the $178,000 ascertained to be his shortage with the bank. Owing to his handling the school fund through the bank he defrauded, the question ques-tion as to whether the bank or the school trustees are liable for the stolen school monev has not been decided. Definite information as to this feature is promised at an early date. |
