Show SENT TO JAIL FOR , VIOLATING DRY LAW Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, S'ept. 13. William Marks was sentenced to nlnetv days in the county jail today by Judge George S. Barker in the municipal court, having been found guilty of having Intoxicating liquor in his possession. The arrest of Marks was made some days ago as he was placing a suitcase in a buggy. This suitcase contained con-tained forty-one pints of whisky. Marks Is said to have confessed that he intended to send the liquor into Idaho by handing it to a railroad brakeman at Har-risville. Har-risville. He has refused to divulge the name of this man, excepting to say his first name is George, declaring lie does not remember his last name. |
