Show ELKS' PARADE WILL BE UNIQUE EVENT Place of Honor Ia Dedicated to the Orphans and Scnool Children. Salt Lake Ells, with the assistance as-sistance of the various military and civic organizations associated with them in the uig Memorial day patriotic parade, pa-rade, have completed all preliminary ; arrangements, and an event unique in the history of the city is assured. Along the line of march flags and other appropriate appro-priate decorations will be much in evidence, evi-dence, as the Elks have the assurance of the citv board of commissioners that I ample funds have been ai riated for ! the use of the park department for this ' purpose. I 'the Elks have invited the children of the Orphans ' Home and Day Nursery ; and of the Kearns St. Ann's orphanage J to observe the parade from the steps of i the Elks hall on State street. They have also arranged to have the school children of the city occupy positions 1 of honor along the line of march. Kopes 1 will be stretched aloiiii the curb of each street, and the school children are to ! be placed directly back of these guard i lines. I Sixtv autos have been engaged to bring the children of the Orphans' home to the club building and to accommodate I tho Grand Armv members. It is an-' : nounced tho parade will start promptly ' at 11 a. m. from Eagle Gate. The Women's Bolief corps and the ; ladies of the fi. A.
