The foundation has made an Initial appropriation of $100,000 with which the preliminary work of central organization, the equipping of mobile units and the publication of literature will be cared for. BOULDER. Colo., May 25. The whole public health problem of France Is to be undertaken by the mission which he will head. Dr. Livingston Farrand, president of the University of Colorado, announced tonight. The mission, which will include two or three of tiie best known tuberculosis tubercu-losis experts of the country, Is being sent by the Rockefeller foundation, and. Dr. Farrand said, v.-ill co-operate directly with the French government. "The campaign Involves the establishment establish-ment of dispensaries everywhere and tne setting up of a whole modern system of deaiing with tuberculosis, which is, of course, t lie first point of attack." Dr. Farrand said he was able to maKe no more definite announcement of his plans, at least until after he had consulted con-sulted with several public health and tuberculosis experts in the east, and pos-6lblv pos-6lblv not until he had reached France. He will leave here for Washington and other eastern cities about June 15 and will sail for France as soon after July 1 as possible.
