One notable exception ex-ception was an open waeer of $1000 that Hushes would be elected. The Republican loader is a favorito of four to three in i the. state of Utah, but the beat in sight on the national result was even money. On practically all .the boards odds of from rive to four to two to one were offered of-fered on C'orless, Democratic-Progressive nominee for sheriff. The two to one offer was snapped up without delay, but several sev-eral wafers of lesser odds remained open last nitfht. Uompartively few large wapers have been accepted. In most cases the maximum maxi-mum to date accepted has been $100 to $200. Many of the wagers are of a freak nature, that is, on the result in various cities and states. Even money was the best offered yesterday on Morris and Bamberger.
