Show B!coS W. E. Hubbard Is Gratified by Progress Made in the Development. W. E. Hubbard, one of the moving spirits in the development of the Mon-tana-Bingham property of Bingham, returned re-turned Saturday from a two months' trip to Pacific coast cities and Honolulu, and upon his return did not delay his Inspection Inspec-tion of the Bingham properties, spending Sunday in the great camp. Mr. Hubbard said yesterday that he was hiuhly pleased with the work on the property in which he Is directly Interested Inter-ested and with conditions generally In Bingham, which Is now breaking its record rec-ord for copper production. Concerning, the progress made on the great tunnel of the Montana-Bingham property, Mr. Hubbard said that he was especially pleased to note that the recently-Installed Karns tunneling machine, the local representatives of which have taken a contract to drive 900 feet of the big bore, is now, after overcoming numerous nu-merous initial difficulties, making progress prog-ress at the rate of fifteen feet per day, driving a 7x7 tunnel. A great many mining min-ing men of the country are watching the progress of this work with more than ordinary Interest, feeling that If It is a complete success mining on a large scale, without doubt, will be somewhat revolutionised. |
