Show EUREKA MINER SUES FOR $10,000 DAMAGES Mike Dovich. a miner of Eureka, yesterday yes-terday filed in the United States district court a suit for $10,000 and costs for personal per-sonal injuries claimed to have been sustained by the plaintiff while working work-ing in the mine of the defendant, the Chief Consolidated Mining company, at Eureka. The accident upon which the suit Is based is alleged in the complaint to have happened on the 1 400-foot level of the mine on January 27. 1915. The defendant de-fendant alleges that he was at that time caught by c&ving ground while at work mending an aii pipe, which work, It is alleged, he was not employed to do. |
