At the new school no association has .yet been formed, but at today's meeting the first steps toward the organization of the association will be taken. The meeting meet-ing at the west side will be held at noon and at the east side at the close of school. Gymnasium classes In both schools will be organized and Physical Directors Henry Richardson and C. A. Brocar will have charge. There has been much demand among the students for the gymnasium gym-nasium work and a large number is expected ex-pected to join the classes. It ia expected that C. A. Brocar, who will be in charge at the east side, will arrive here in time to talk to the boy a at the meeting. It is expected that the football practices will start as soon as Brocar arrives. At the assembly yesterday morning at 1 the new school Principal George A. Eeaton suggested that students in the seventh and eighth grades, which are part of the junior high school, might take part in athletics providing they are eligible. This plan may mean much to the east side, although many students are opposed to it. |
