There are nineteen cases of whooping cough in Ogden at the present time, according to the report just issued by Georgo Shorten, city sanitary and health inspector. The health department's depart-ment's report for August shows there were four deaths from automobile accidents acci-dents during the month. Altogether there were thirty-three deaths in the city during dur-ing August and seventy-one births. Special deputies employed by the health department to make a sanitation survey of the city have no far found 600 residences resi-dences in the sewer districts of the city without sewer connections. The deputies have reported that the conditions governing govern-ing the removal of garbage are bad. Better Bet-ter facilities for the disposal of garbage will probably be made by the department. |
