Summer. i ' i TEE motordrome at "Vandaniere will bo opened Tuesday m'ght, j July 21. Manager W. E. Lewis has engaged seven of the best racers in the city to partieipate in the opening events. Most of the well-known well-known riders throughout the country will rid at the motordrome during the season, it is announced. For the opening meet the following events have been arranged: Two best out of three heats Perk and Senhouse; first heat, two miles; second and third heats, three miles. -Free-for-all. two miles Peck, Samuel-nelson Samuel-nelson and Sinalling. Handicap, two miles Senhouse, Kog-non Kog-non and Berstrom. Event Samuelson, Johnson , and Smalling. Event- Smalling, Senhouse, Fed and Hamuelson. Ewnt Kognon, Johnson and Er- Strnni. There will be a band in attendance at the races each night, which will furnish fur-nish music between the races. Admittance Admit-tance will be the popular pricesi Hint have been in force heretofore. On July 2- a number of eastern riders vrill participate par-ticipate in the race. There will also bo an exhibition of fireworhs. |
