Show ATTEND MID-SUMMER QUARTERLY. Two Hundred Ogden Members of Weber Stake Go to Hooper. Special- to The Tribune. OGDEN, July 19. More than 200 Ogden Og-den members of the Wooer stake attended at-tended the mid-summer quarterly conference confer-ence of the stake at Hooper today making mak-ing the trip on a special train over the Denver & Rio Grande railroad. Once each year the Weber stake conference is held at Hooper and the mid-summer meeting Is selected because the sessions can be held in the open air. Among the prominent speakers at today's to-day's meetings were President Francis M. Lyman and Elder James E. Talmage. There was a French session in the afternoon, after-noon, attended by many French members of the Mormon church from both Salt Lake and Ogden. The special train for the accommodation of the local conference confer-ence attendants left this city at 9 a. m. and returning left Hooper at 5 p. m |
