Announemeut made the past week of the wedding of Miss Bertha Grau of Sacramento and Frederick Julius Kieger of this eitv, is of especial interest in Salt Lake and Ogden, since Mr. Kieger is a prominent young business man of the city and a nephew of Frederick J. Kiese! of Ogden and well known throughout the state. The bride has often visited in Salt Lake and Ogden. Like those of the other daughters of the house, three of whom were married within the last two years, the ceremonv was performed in the familv home' on Sutter Terrace and was attended by a very large assemblage as-semblage of friends, the bridal party standing in the bow window at one end of the drawing room. Bamboo anil ferns were used to bank the windows forming a background back-ground of greenery for the. largo clusters of unster lilies which were arranger in tail gilt vases. Keach-ing Keach-ing from the background was a rano:v "f asoaragus fe.-a ttliicu ended" in the chandelier, which with is draperies r.VTulle and les-toons les-toons of asparagus, gave the appearance ap-pearance of a gigantic wedding bell. Over the heads of the bride, and groom was suspended a ball of whit iris jro?n which showered lilies of the valley. The chandelier chan-delier in this room was veiled with pink tulle, while the library with its red roses and fern tave a still warmer tone to the decorations. The entire lower Moor was eon-verted eon-verted into a supper room and here a solid mass of as-pararus pave a beautiful setting for the small tables, each one of whieh was centered cen-tered by a basket of vari-colorcd sweet ieas.
