To the rear of the maiu dining room and between the main dining room and the buffet is the pantry, 15 bv 35 feet. Work on the building will be rushed with a view to having it completed by June 1. in time to entertain many of the tourists stopping off here during the summer. The golf links are practically prac-tically finished now and will be put into service with the opening of spring. The water system has not yet been completed, but ten miles of pipe for the pipe lino is on the premises and will be laid as soon as the ground thaws sufficiently to permit the work. The club controls its own water system for both the building and the grounds. The water supply conies from a tunnel driven driv-en into the mountain and, for protection against a possible water famine, a big concrete reservoir, holding 5000 gallons of water, was built last summer. In case of a shortage the water in the reservoir can be used to irrigate the lawn and trees. In addition to providing pro-viding a portion of the water supply, the reservoir will be used as a freshwater fresh-water bathing pool. |
