The TRAVELGAME is a .game of skill, comprising a study of addition and geography. Ii It is a game vhieh will interest young and old, men and women, boys and girls; a game which will require skill and I study, and one in which there is no element of .chance. To play the TRAVELGAME you start traveling throughout the United States, visiting the different cities, as shown II in the map', and finishing your travels at San Francisco. You may start "ut any city in the United States, but you must finish at San Francisco. Tn traveling you must visit at least one city iu each state in the Union. You must follow the lines of travel or travel n routes as shown 'on the map. You may visit as many cities up to five on any one line as you desire, before changing to another line, but you must not visit more than five on any one line before changing. Iu changing from one line to another you must change only at junction points where the Hues intersect at cities. You must not change where the lines intersect' and there is no city at the intersection. (The word city is used in all cases, so that there will be no misunder-staudiug misunder-staudiug and confusion between cities, towns and villages.) I You must not visit any city more than once. That is, after once passing through a city you must not return to it. Neither must you retrace your' line of travel or cross any line over which you have previously traveled. ' The cities located on niorf than one line of travel belong to any of the lines they are on until they have once been used, then they belong to the line upon which you have used them and must not be need agaiu. It is not necessary for a line of travel to run directly through or to the center of city, but the city must touch the line to which it belongs. Several cities are near lines, yet they are not on them. To the traveler visiting the cities totaling the greatest population will be awarded the first prize. In the. event that two travelers secure the same total of population, then the one with the greatest total population visiting the least number j of cities to secure it will be awarded the first prize. ' The TRAVELGAME, in other words, is to visit the greatest total population, using the least number of cities. To the traveler visiting the cities with the next greatest total of population, using the next' smallest number of cities, will be awarded the second prize, and so on through the entire prize list. j list of cities, together with the official population, according to the 1910 United States census, will be furnished each contestant. Among these are all of the cities shown and numbered ou the TRAVELGAME map. These cities are all accurately located, ud it will be an easy matter to select the correct titles. No other census will be considered official, and so that all players will have the same figures we have arranged to give the working chart and census free as explained "Where mistakes are made by players in using the wrong name for a city or using a wrong name of a state with a city, the population of that city will bo deducted from the total and the player will be given credit for the balance. :'Jj: YYYh.--.
