Show AUTOMOBILE DRIVER IMPALED ON FENCE L.OS ANGELES, Cal., Feb. 7. .Tack Callaghan, automobile race driver, skidded skidd-ed through the fence in a 100-mile sanctioned sanc-tioned automobile rs.ee at Ascot park today, to-day, impaling himself on a board. Two rlbe were broken- and a large hole was torn in his chest. He Is reported to have an even chance for life. Callaghan was running third at the twelfth mile when the accident occurred. His mechanician, Victor Wells, was not hurt, and, seizing the wheel, he brought the car to a slop without damage to it. Cal'aghan's teammates.
