Show MAY BUILD COUNTY ISOLATION HOSPITAL On the recommendation of Dr. C. C. Snyder, county physician, the board or county commissioners has practically decided lo 'build a counlv Isolation hospital hos-pital for the treatment of smallpox independently in-dependently of the city hospital. Dr. Snyder presented the proposition to the commissimora yesterday and It was decided de-cided to obtain estimates as to the probable prob-able cost of such an Institution. It Is proposed to erect the hospital as an adjunct to thn new county Infirmary at Twelfth South and Stato streets. It will bo built on the Infirmary grounds, though at a point sufficiently isolated. County smallpox cases arc "handled now under an arrangement with the city at the city Isolation hospital. It costs thf county $2 a day for every patient It eends to the hospital nnd It Is to obviate this expense that Dr. Snyder has recommended recom-mended a separate Institution. |
