Roylanco Utah counly will ship more fruit this year than last. Strawberries Straw-berries have been shipped In small lots for some time. Beginning tomorrow carload car-load lot shipments will start, and It is expected ex-pected lhat twcnly-flvo carloads of berries ber-ries will be shipped from l'rovo this season sea-son There will be a fair crop or peachec and tho apples, pears and plums will bo above the average. the "strawberry bug." an inseift which -attacks the strawberry plants, has mude Its appearance hero and Is doing considerable con-siderable damage. County Fruit Tree Inspector In-spector W. R. Brerelou has sent specimens speci-mens of tho insect to the agricultural college col-lege for classification and that means for Its extermination may be 'devised. It Is also probable that a request for assistance assist-ance in fighting tho pest will be made of the United Stales agricultural department. |
