Royal Highlanders. Utah castle No. 33S. Royal Highlanders, held a very interesting and enthusiastic meeting last Monday. In tho absence of I.. P. The election of officers was postponed for one week, and It is sure to be a hotly contested one. Clansman Clans-man Watts was appointed press correspondent corre-spondent in place of I. P. Mary Hubbard, who has dono such good work for the past year. The card party committee reported re-ported progress and the bail committee made its final report. One apllcation was favorably acted upon. Under tho head of good and welfare Clansman Wallace Wal-lace read a very Interesting article on "The Humbug," and Fair Lady Pearl Gardiner read a very Interesting story. Several Important matters' were brought up and discussed, one In particular being be-ing as to whether it was advisable to discontinue tho meetings during the summer sum-mer months. Finally It was decided to continue tho meetings as before so members mem-bers are hereby notified that the meetings meet-ings will take place as usual on the second sec-ond and fourth Thursdays In each month. It was also arranged that tho next meeting meet-ing take the form of a concert In honor of the coronation of King Georgo V. Sixteen Six-teen members of Ogden No 173 tame down to assist in tlte good time. Sisters Sis-ters Hock, Mclntyie, Charlton and Marshall Mar-shall met them at the station and escorted es-corted them to the tabernacle recital. The ladies and their guides Mien proceeded pro-ceeded to Shay's for luncheon, where other members of 248 met them and enjoyed en-joyed a social time at table. Fraternal Brotherhood. Utah lodge No. 365 was so well satisfied satis-fied with its officers that it elected very nearly all the old officers again at Its meeting on Wednesday. Those who were not re-elected were not present and had signified their desire to be dropped from the list of officers.
