About thirtv earnest ear-nest men met with the board of county commissioners during the week lo discuss dis-cuss the proposition of the division of this county into two or more high school districts. dis-tricts. Nearly every district of the county coun-ty was represented showing that Iho county is fully awake to the importance of the question. Chairman Madsen of the board staled the objeel of the call and placed the meeting in the hands of the representatives for full discussion. btato Superintendent A. C. Nelson was present and on request gave his views on the question. Mr. Nelson In the beginning be-ginning addressed the meeting as "fellow "fel-low Sanpcters" and stated specifically that he was not present as a "butter-In" in any sense of the word and that he was not present from choice, owing to his physical condition, but because his interests in-terests In hls home county prompted him to do what he could in the Interests of the best education of tho state. Ills advice ad-vice was along the lines suggested bv some of Ihe delegates that the' besL results re-sults could bo obtained with hut one school, but if on account of geographical conditions two were considered necessary he would favor two, bul no more.
