Show "DRYS" BUSY SUNDAY WITH MANY MEETINGS Speakers in the "dry" cause, working tinder the auspices and direction of the Antl-Llcinor leaguo, were unusually busy yesterday, holding one street mass meeting meet-ing and five ward meetings. O. J. P. Wldtsoc and Rosroc Eardley addressed a fairly well attended street meeting at Second South and State streets at 4 o'clock In the afternoon. The following fol-lowing Indoor meetings" were held: At Poplar Grove Sunday school Lawrence Law-rence Snow was the speaker at a meeting meet-ing held at 10 o'clock In the morning. The evening meetings were: Cannon ward, Mrs. Letltla Teasdalo and George Bur-bldge; Bur-bldge; Fifth ward, Mrs. V. A. Wight and George Morris; Poplar Grove, Annie Wells Cannon and Clarence Nelson. Thlrtv-sec-ond ward, Mrs. Jennie Lloyd and 13. H. Eardley. Tuesday the "drys" will hold a big mass meeting at "Wandamere, with special spe-cial music and several of their leading speakers to dlncuss the Issues. |
