Dr. Christian Frelsncr of Grace M. E. church. Denver, who has accepted the call to Grace M. E. church. New York, and who will take charge April 1. Dr. Frelsncr is one of the most advanced workers In the Methodist Episcopal chinch, and his methods In Denver attracted at-tracted attention throughout tho country. coun-try. His forte Is publicity, and he constantly con-stantly keeps his church In the public eye. He had many critics in Denver when he first put his methods Into operation, oper-ation, but when he showed the results gained nil opposition was turned Into hearty approval. One of tho things he did was to rent an unoccupied sriuare one summer and hire a brass band, which gave concerts nightly. Thousands attended these concerts and listened to Dr. Frelsncr preach and. pray between th numbers. He Increased his church membership from 200 to 2000.
