Show Character Ball Success. Special to The Tribune. SPRING VJLiL-E, March 12. Tho character char-acter ball given last night, under the auspices of the I. O. O. P. k. n M and M. W A. lodges of this city in tho Theater dance hall, was a great success suc-cess socially and financially. There was a large attendance, and a largo number of characters represented. The first prize of ?3. givon for tho best sustained character was awarded to Aaron John-Tn2.f John-Tn2.f . M?(p eton- wh represented the Indian medicine man. The second prize of $l.o0 was awarded to Mrs. Maud Cur-IZU Cur-IZU represented a Japanese lady, and a third merit prize of 1 wag grvdn hMn ma SPatori. who represented the well-known character of Topsy. |
