Tho lawns aro Just as gTcen as they were during tho middle of last summer. Tho winter coverings havo been removed, and Ihn tender blades have sprung up In great numbers. The space of ground which was onco used for drill purposes has been sodded, and by tho last of May will help make the-placo the-placo more attractive than ever. Extensive Improvements aro now under way and large forces of men arc engaged in work which shortly will bring tho post Into moro prominence than It has acquired before. Work upon the new olcctric lighting system Is progressing progress-ing rapidly. This moans much to tho post, as it is a nocd which lia3 long been felt. The new barracka will bo rendv for occupancy by June. Construction 'work has progressed steadily during tho past few months. The two-story brick buildings build-ings are already up. the roofs have been laid, and shingling just now Is being complotcd.
