Big Lost rivor or Blnckfoot country? Name tho ones they expect to have constructed this early spring. A PATRON. Tho Oregon Short Line lias the following fol-lowing brnnch lines in view: The Idaho Central from Owinza via Boise and New Plymouth to Paj'ctte is projected and incorporated but not yot surveyed. It is designed to shorten disianco and reduce re-duce grades on the main line. Tho Lemhi & Salmon Valley from Cerro Grande north lo Salmon City, the first twenty-five miles of which would open up tho Big Lost River irrigation project. Xo active work will probably prob-ably be done this year. The Moreland-Aberdeen branch of tho Salmon River railroad, on which part of the grading is done and on which some work Avill probably be done this coming summer. No definite timo is set for completion of the line. Burloy fo Oaklev branch is projected and work will probably begin tins' 3"car. Twin Falls to Salmon river dam, the Uollislcr branch, is partly built and will no doubt be done this summer. Vale to Brogan in eastern Oregon through the Willow Creek irrigation project. Work is npw going on, and this lino will nrobabb bo finished this summer. Rupert to Bliss branch is now ttndor construction and will bo done this year. From Twin Falls south to tho main lino of tho Southern Pacific near Co-bro. Co-bro. This connection is merely projected project-ed and no work has been done on it, When it will Jdo built is not known probably not for several years. |
