Show IR HAS YERY NARROW ESCAPE AT OGDEN Special to The Tribune. OGDEN", Dec. 23. "While attempting to alight from a moving passenger train on the Rio Grando as It crossed Twenty-third Twenty-third street this morning John "Wagner, local yardmaster of the Rio Grande, slipped on tho ice and was struck by the flying truck of the rear coach, dislocating dis-locating a knoo cap. ilr. Wagner's escape from death was almost miraculous. The speed of the train and tho slippery place at which he alighted caused him it : thrown almost under tho wheels of the moving train. Instead of ' being ground to pieces Wagner was struck by the car and pushed aside. He will bo confined to his bed for several days. Serious Charge Made. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Dec. 23.
