Tho Fifteenth 'Infantry, consisting of nbout 700 men, departed in a special troop train of throe sections for Colorado Colo-rado Springs over the Denver & Kio Grande Wednesday morning about 11 o'clock. In tho morning, front G:o0 o'clock when tho regiment left Fort Douglas ii u Li 1 the last section was dispatched, dis-patched, preparations for tho vast military mili-tary exodus were carried forward with tho utmost expedition. The g'reat work of unloading the regimental wagon train, placing tho equipment in tho box cars and knocking down tho heavy lumbering lum-bering wagons, was performed within two hours. Tho entire enlisted personnel person-nel was put to work under tho supervision super-vision of tho officers, and by 11 o'clock everything w:is in readiness for tho departure. de-parture. At Fort Douglas at -1:30 a. m. every on including tho families of tho officers, was active.
