The telephone wires were, kept hot between this city and Salt Lake tonight by baseball enthusiasts en-thusiasts at this end of tho line and Utah league officials on the other end, the result re-sult of which conference was that Bingham Bing-ham has decided to put a ball team in the t league to take the place of Fort Doug- l.-js. Hopkins will go to Salt Lake City tomorrow or next day to sign up as many of tho ball players as he can secure.
