Show CAPTAIN ADAMS VISITS THE FORESTRY BUREAU Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, July 15. Accompanied by 'T. R. Craft, publicity agent. Capt. .lames B. Adams, chief of the business end of the forestry bureau, paid a hurried visit to Ogden Wednesday. With Mr. Craft, Captain Adams visited vis-ited the local branches of the forestry department de-partment In this city to got in touch with the amount of business now being conducted con-ducted from these offices. Several hours were spent going over accounts, reports and the like from both the engineering and supply departments located In Ogden, Og-den, and everything at tlx conclusion of Captain Adams' Inspection wns reported by him to be moving along smoothly. Captain Adams, before his connection with the forestry department of the government, gov-ernment, was a public expert accountant. He is thoroughly acquainted with the fos-estry fos-estry conditions of the t'nitcd Riaies and seems to be highly Interested In his work. Glfford Plnchot. who is at the head of the forestry bureau, always advises with three assistants before undertaking any policy connected with the department, and Captain Adams Is said to be one of the closest advisers. |
