Show TRADE BBIGHTEHS ON ' SALT LAKE MARKETS Fruit Dealers Report Heavy Sales Wednesday; Raspberries Rasp-berries in Demand. Business on Market row livened up somewhat Wednesday and particularly merchants doaling in fruit reported heavy sales. A considerable Increase was apparent ap-parent in the call for raspberries, and quotations on tho fruit descended to two quart boxes for 25 cents. Gooseberries sold bettor than usual also, but owing to their extremely sour flavor this fruit does not seem to bo such a favorite with the housewives as are raspborrios. Tho supply of strawberries Wednesday was very scant, the season for the fruit being practically at an end. Logan berries ber-ries and blackberries, although plentiful, remained at 10 cents a pint box. Apples aro now coming In more freely, and both the red and the white Atrakhan varieties can be obtained at 10 cents a 1 pound. Wednesday the market afforded a big supply of California oranges, peaches, pears, plums and prunes. Today the housewife will be greeted by a bountiful supply of fresh Utah vegetables. vege-tables.
