Show JULY 30 PURPLE DAY AHHE LAGOON Antlercd Herd Will Bring 0ft' Annual Celebration on That Date. July 30 has been llxcd as the day for the annual colobratlon of the Elks' club at Lagoon, and It Is expected that there will bo a gathering of the antlorod herd that will ecllpso anything of tho kind ever undertaken. If plans now being made by tho committee recently chosen to do things materialize every one will wear purple and the sounds of hilarity and merriment mer-riment which will rise from tho vicinity of tho "prettiest spot in Utah" will resemble re-semble the celebration of the Roman populace on the return of a victorious army. A special meeting of the B, P. O. n. was held Wednesday night to arrango the many details of the celebration and to sec that every one had his uniform ready and was prepared to boost, Urst, last and all the time for Ihe affair. ! Allowing Al-lowing arc the names of the committee chosen: Exalted Ruler A. J. Davis, Esteemed Es-teemed Reading Knight J. W. Collins, Esteemed Es-teemed Loyal Knight C. C. Slade. Esteemed Es-teemed Lcclurlng Knight II. J. Robinson, Secretary A. W. Raybould, .lames Lcary, Thomas JTomor and C S. Pulver. Each member of the committee has guaranteed that things shall be started at onco with a vim, and although tho time for preparation Is short and the number of things to bo done many, it Is hoped that the spirit of past Elks will be ever present to assist, nnd with tho aid of present members It Is hoped to make the coming outing cciual to anything that has ecr boon dono by the Elks, even If It Is not better.
