A. auditorium hold Sunday aftor-noon, aftor-noon, Secretary Cox announced that next Sunday would bo tho last Sunday that Rev. FJmcr I. Goshen would address-the meetings and every Sunday after that date the meetings would bo addressed by other ministers of the city. Secretary Cox slated that Kov. Goshen, who has been addressing tho young men's meetings for the past six months would complete his engagement at that time. Winning of a Faith. After the regular service, Rev. Goshen delivered a sormon on "The Winning of a Faith." In part he said that every man desires to load a better life and lo willing to do anything nnd pay anything to gain tho better life, but some doubt tho wortnlness of tho life they would lead. Most honest men aro oorry that ihey can not escape doubt. Doubt should be banished ban-ished from the minds, for It Is shown by history and facts that where there were things that were thought that could not bo done they were worked out by experience, experi-ence, which proves and shows that whut logic says "can't," Is a fact. Logic falls by test but hope leads us on. Gave Number Instructions. Dr. Goshen gave a number of illustrations illustra-tions from American history of the great things that had been accomplished where there was unbounded faith in the matter. |
