Show CONTRACTS TO EXPIRE. Bingham Con. May Continue to Handle Boston Con. Ores. Tho contracts between the Ncwhousc Mines and Smoltcrw and the Bingham Consolidated company, ancl the Utah Copper Cop-per company and the Bingham company, for the treatment of the concentrates of the Cactus and the Utah mines, expire March 2fl, says the Boston News Bureau. Bu-reau. The contract between the Bingham Bing-ham company nnd the Boston Consolidated Consoli-dated for the treatment of ISO tons of ore per day expired March 1. according to the time limit. The contract, howevor, was alao upon a tonnage basis, and under un-der the contract the Boston Consolidated still Iwb a large tonnage to supply to the Bingham smelter, which will permit It to continue shipments, as at present, for tho larger part of th!o year. The change In the control of the Bingham Bing-ham Consolidated may permit a continua- tlon of the shipments of the Cactus and Utah Copper concentrates to the Bingham Bing-ham smelter, especially if the American Smelting and Refining Interests are In control, ns we understand to be the case. While actual stock control of the Bingham Bing-ham has passed to New York, the management man-agement of tho properly Is -still !n the hands of local directors and President K. L White. Just what part Mr. Helnzo plays in the situation ls not known, other than that he is now a large stockholder in the company com-pany and that Boston Interests arc In frequent consultation with him |
