Show PLEA FOR VACCINATION. Dr. Wilcox Addresses tho Principals of Public Schools on Smallpox. An Interesting mooting of tho principals princi-pals of the city schools was held yoster-day yoster-day In the offlco of Superintendent Chrls-tensen Chrls-tensen Dr. Wilcox addressed tho meeting meet-ing on tho subject of smallpox, which Is now spreading throughout the city. He first showed the principals somo of tho symptoms of the dlseaso and spoke of various measures for preventing and then made a strong plea for vaccination. Ho said that although tho laws were not such as to enforce vaccination, all tho principals should use Uiclr lnllucnco with tho parents to have the children vaccinated. It Is also tho urgent duty of tho principals and teachers to uso every caution and take such precautionary meawures as will aid In stamping out tho disease. He has also Instructed tho principals to confer with him frequently on tlie subject and Immediately report any new appearance of tho disease, so that tho proper health authorities may bo sent for at once. He Is very eager to work with the Health board in stamping out tho disease from among the school children.
